MS-DOS Kermit Scripts Library
Most recent update: 25 May 2000.
Scripts for MS-DOS Kermit. See the MS-DOS Kermit distribution diskette
or ZIP file for additional scripts.
NOTE: Normally these scripts would have a filetype of ".KSC"
(Kermit SCript). However, due to the propensity of Windows-based browsers
to "open" links by feeding files to their associated applications, users
of Kermit 95 would have no way of viewing these scripts, rather than
executing them. Therefore, we have renamed them to ".KDS" so you
can see them.
Dialing Scripts:
- aceex.kds
- Dialing script for Aceex DM1414V Faxmodem.
MS-DOS Kermit 3.14 or later required.
- compaq.kds

- generic.kds

command set and support RTS/CTS hardware flow control and speed buffering.
MS-DOS Kermit 3.15 or later required.
- hayes.kds

HAYES.SCR updated to modern Kermit scripting syntax.

- megahz.kds
- Dialing script for the Megahertz X-Jack 3144 or CC6144 modem.
MS-DOS Kermit 3.15 or later required.
- sport.kds
- Dialing script for the 3Com/USR Sportster or Courier.
MS-DOS Kermit 3.15 or later required.

- t3000.kds

Most of these scripts are intended to illustrate new features of MS-DOS
Kermit 3.15. These features are documented in the
msk315.txt
file.
Oldies but Goodies:
- product.kds
- Do-It-Yourself Arithmetic (1991).
- rolmunix.kds
- A very careful script providing automatic login to Columbia's UNIX systems
(as they were in 1991), over either of two Rolm data phone models, through a
terminal server. MS-DOS Kermit 3.11 required.
- rolm7171.kds
- A similar script, but for logging into IBM mainframe fullscreen sessions
through a 7171 protocol converter. 1991; MS-DOS Kermit 3.11 required.
- rolminfo.kds
- Similar to rolmunix, but after logging in, this one also puts the user
in the desired application, such as e-mail. 1991; MS-DOS Kermit 3.11 required.
