The kermit directory contains the following directories:

  ckermit    ascii   C-Kermit for Unix and VMS
  ekermit    ascii   E-Kermit for embedding
  kermit95   ascii   Source code for Kermit 95 for Windows
  archives   binary  tar.gz and zip archives of the above
  incoming   (any)   For uploading
  etc        ascii   Other Kermit-related files

You may cd to these directories to GET files in the indicated
mode.  You may upload Kermit binaries or source code or other
related files to the incoming directory.  If you do this please
send email to:

  kermit@kermitproject.org

with a notification of what you have uploaded.  This directory
is not readable, only writeable; nobody can see what you have
uploaded except the ftp site administrator.
